What sport do you participate in and for how long?
I play soccer and have played since I was 4 years old. I am now 21 and play professionally in Iceland.
How has the Strength App Training System helped you improve athletically?
When I first started going to StrengthFarm I could barely hold a plank for a minute. I am undoubtedly a better athlete now. I have passed preseason fitness tests I wasn’t able to before and notice more power in training and practices. As a goalkeeper, I can see improvement in my jumping and diving explosiveness and even the power behind my kicking.
How does the the Strength App Training System compare to other systems you’ve used in the past?
I have always been an athlete but have never had a structured system that was built for athletic performance. Instead of just showing up to the gym a few times a week and throwing some weight on a squat rack, I now do exercises that help my strength, explosiveness, and even flexibility. In the past, there was never a correlation between the exercises I was doing in the gym and the sport I play on the field. Now I feel like they go hand-in-hand.
What do you like most about the Strength App Training System?
I like the simplicity. I am the type of person that likes routine and there are never any surprises with the Strength App. I know how many days a week I will be working out and how many exercises there will be. All I have to do is log on to my app and get to work. Also, Sam is a great coach and a great guy. I know there’s always someone in my corner rooting for me.
If you were to recommend the Strength App Training System to a teammate, or friend what would you say?
“Here’s how I passed the beep test.” Jokes aside though, I would say that the Strength App is hand-made by a very knowledgeable strength coach and it is a system that works and has first-hand worked for me. All the workouts are written and ready for you, just log on and work.
What is your favorite workout jam(s)?
I have to go with some old-school Snoop Dogg.
